Andrew John Napier is an award-winning composer for visual media and the concert hall as well as a multi-instrumentalist. Originally from Seattle, Washington, he now currently resides in the Los Angeles area.
He recently composed the music for the feature film, "Destined To Ride" (starring Madeline Carroll, Denise Richards, and Joey Lawrence), which was released by Sony Pictures Entertainment.
As well In 2017, Andrew saw the release of his first official single, "Noumenon IX" for string orchestra. His music can also be heard in MTV's Catfish: The TV Show, Australian Spartan, Spike Jonze's documentary series, Weediquette, as well as Ondi Timoner's (two-time recipient of Sundances’s Grand Jury Prize for documentaries) documentary, "The Last Mile." Furthermore, Andrew's music is featured in Mortifer V's hit music compilation: Cosmos: Vol 2.
Andrew was the winner of Scorbit's international 2017 Video Game Scoring Contest and continues to forge a path in the world of video game music as a composer for Game Music Town.
Within his time in Los Angeles, Andrew has had the pleasure to work on various shows and films including, Amazon Studio's "Mozart In The Jungle," CBS's "Mom", "Tracers", and video games such as Insaneroot's, "Spellbounders."
He is also an active composer for Game Music Town, Sub Pub Music Group, Velvet Green Music, and Morris & Young Music.
Andrew holds a Master of Music degree from Berklee College of Music and a Bachelor of Music degree from Columbia College Chicago.
